How OfferLab works

Whether you’re selling your own offers or promoting others, OfferLab helps you earn together.

Updated this week

What is an OfferLab funnel?

On OfferLab, we call them Collab Funnels (short for collaborative funnels). They’re the backbone of how creators sell and promote on the platform — simple to set up, flexible to customize, and designed for collaboration.

A Collab Funnel can include as many offers as you want, but we recommend keeping it to five or fewer so customers enjoy a smooth experience.

Every funnel is made up of three parts:

  1. Offers: The products being sold, these can by physical or digital.

  2. Checkout: The second step of the funnel where the customer purchases the first offer in your funnel. This can also include an order bump which is a smaller add-on that boosts your order value, but more on that later!

  3. Order summary: The final step which shows customers everything they’ve purchased in that funnel.

👉 Think of a Collab Funnel like a curated experience: a customer clicks in for one main product but can discover and buy more along the way, often from multiple creators. Everyone wins — sellers, affiliates, and customers.

Tour of an OfferLab funnel

Let’s review how OfferLab works with a typical example of a collab funnel conducted through our platform. In this illustration you can see how a health & wellness funnel would work for all four parties involved in the purchase when they team up:

  • Customer: The person buying the offers.

  • Seller A: Owner of the Sleep Mask offer.

  • Seller B: Owner of the Meditation Course offer.

  • OfferLab: The platform.

  • Funnel Owner (Seller B): This means Seller B is now the Affiliate for Seller A’s Sleep Mask and will earn commissions any time someone buys it through this funnel link.

📝 Things to note:

  • Sellers get instant payout to their connected bank when selling on OfferLab and is responsible for refunds. Learn more about Selling

  • With collab funnels on OfferLab, Sellers will often double as affiliates themselves, essentially increasing their average order value (AOV) by including other sellers’ offers in their funnel and earning commissions on them in addition to their own offers.

  • Affiliate commissions are held for 30 days before being paid out. Orders refunded within 30 days result in cancellation of any affiliate commissions.

Earning as a Seller

Selling on OfferLab is simple:

  • Add your offers and set your commission rates to reward affiliates (between 1% → 100%).

  • If you sell inside your own funnel, you keep 100% of that sale (minus fees).

  • You get instant payout on any sales you make to your connected bank account through Stripe.

  • You can also include other creators’ offers in your funnel, which lets you earn commissions as the Funnel Owner.

👉 Example 1: You sell a $75 offer directly through your own funnel. You earn the full $75 (minus fees) instantly.

👉 Example 2: An Affiliate promotes your $75 offer in their funnel and you offer them a 50% commission, you earn $37.50 (minus fees) instantly.

Earning as an Affiliate

As an Affiliate on OfferLab, you can earn commissions in a few different ways — here’s everything you need to know.

Earn commissions by promoting offers

  • Add other sellers’ offers into your funnel.

  • Sellers set the commission percentage (anywhere from 1% up to 100%).

  • When a customer buys, you earn your set commission.

  • Commissions are held for 30 days before payout (to cover refunds or chargebacks).

Grow your earnings with second-tier affiliate rewards

On OfferLab, community impact pays. You don’t earn just for inviting someone — you earn when the people you invite actually sell or promote offers and succeed on the platform.

Think of it like a family tree:

  • The creators you invite are your first branches.

  • If those creators invite someone else, that becomes the next branch.

  • Whenever anyone on your tree makes sales for their own offers or promoting others, you get a small share of that success.

👉 Important: These second-tier commissions are paid directly by OfferLab out of our platform fee. They do not come out of your invitee’s earnings. Your invitees always keep 100% of their sales and commissions — you simply receive a bonus from OfferLab for bringing valuable creators into the community.

That means there’s never a downside for someone to join through your link — it’s all upside for everyone.

📝 Note: Rewards only go two levels deep only — your direct referrals and the people they invite — so your tree is simple, collaborative, and based on real sales activity.

Second-tier reward levels

Your second-tier rewards grow as you and your network contribute more value to the OfferLab community. The more sales you make and the more active creators you invite who sell and promote, the higher your Reward Level.

Each Level unlocks greater second-tier commission rewards as follows.

What does it cost to use OfferLab?

Understanding service fees can help you set a pricing strategy.

We keep fees simple and transparent so you can focus on growing your business. OfferLab is free to join, free to list offers, and free to collaborate with other creators. You only pay when money actually moves — either when you make a sale or when you withdraw affiliate earnings.

  • On every sale made through OfferLab, we deduct 7.5% + 3.5% merchant fees from the total purchase price*, followed by a dynamically generated sales tax when applicable**.

  • The rest is split between the seller and the funnel owner (affiliate) according to the commission structure the seller sets.

*The total purchase price includes the offer price, plus any one-time fees or shipping costs where applicable.

**Sellers can choose to opt into Stripe Tax at onboarding, which automatically calculates and collects sales tax at checkout.

If you’re earning commissions as an affiliate, you can request a payout anytime once your commissions clear the 30-day pending period. Learn more

Good to know: There are no subscriptions, setup costs, or listing fees on OfferLab. You only pay when you earn.

Anyone can earn with OfferLab

OfferLab was designed around one big idea: creators earn more when they work together. That’s why anyone can build funnels on the platform — whether you’re selling your own offers, promoting others, or mixing both.

Here’s what that looks like in practice:

  • Build with your own offers. Add your offers into a funnel you own and keep 100% of the sales (minus fees).

  • Add other sellers’ offers. Combine your own offers with complementary ones from other creators, or build a funnel entirely with other sellers’ offers. In these cases, you’re the affiliate for any sales you drive on their behalf, and you’ll earn the commission rate they set.

  • Earn on every sale you don’t own. Whenever a customer purchases an offer from another seller in your funnel, you earn commission on that sale.

The takeaway: Whether you’re a seller, an affiliate, or both, OfferLab makes it easy to combine offers into collaborative funnels. You don’t need your own product to start earning — just build connect with sellers, combine their offers, and share the funnel with your audience.
